We truly appreciate Congressman Warren Davidson and his Deputy District Director Ben Thaeler for taking the time to visit our Piqua location yesterday. He's truly interested in making sure that his constituents struggling with substance use disorders have access to high-quality, comprehensive, cost-effective care.
We spent time discussing how we've been navigating through the pandemic, the pros and cons of telehealth for SUD care, our concerns related to the recent changes to the regulations around buprenorphine, the ongoing need for improvements to the healthcare system in general, and how best to expand access to SUD and mental health care for active military, veterans, and their families specifically.
In these very partisan times, we appreciate the Congressman's willingness to seek out and make progress on common sense initiatives to improve the health of our communities and the economy.
